Pablo “Dj Smoke” Calderon is an American Dj, producer, writer and sound engineer. Beginning in the early 1990’s, he established himself as a pioneer of “turtablism dj’ing”. Taking his talents into the Rave scene, he travelled throughout the country and abroad into Europe. He also gained fame as a competition champion at this time. Dj Smoke held many residencies in the New York scene, in clubs such as The Bank, Gothica, Limelight, The Underground, Emerald City, 1018’s, Palladium and the Tunnel, just to name a few.

As a music producer, Pablo has released several remixes and two Ep’s that are available on most streaming and online music stores. His albums include “Smokedelic”, a cinematic Electronica album, as well as “4CES of N8URE”, a Tribal/Afro House production. Both published by CdBaby. As an editor/producer, he worked for early MTV, and then became a solo producer. “Da’ Hip-Hop Witch”, directed by Dale Resteghini, and “The Arcadian” directed by Dekker Dreyer, are the two feature films. He is credited as Foley, sound engineer and score master in these projects. Pablo made a short film for his music Ep, called “4CES of N8URE: A VIZUAL JOURNEY”. He also fully produced a comedy/horror animation, “THE THANG”, by himself. Both projects can be found on YouTube.
